Tranmere Rovers suffered a late collapse to lose 4-2 at Chesterfield in League Two on Saturday. The defeat leaves the side 12th in the table with 11 points from nine games.
Dylan Jones had headed Tranmere level in the 59th minute from a pinpoint Tom Ince cross, cancelling out Dilan Markanday's 15th-minute opener for the hosts. The game turned in a frantic final period as Louie Marsh put Chesterfield back ahead in the 83rd minute.
Substitute Josh Koroma then struck twice in stoppage time, in the first and fourth minutes of added time, to put the result beyond doubt. Jacob Slater netted a late consolation for Tranmere moments later.
Goalkeeper Ryan Boot had kept his side in the contest earlier, tipping a Charlie Whitaker effort over the bar before Jones' equaliser.
Tranmere, whose recent form reads one win in five matches, now prepare to host 11th-placed Rochdale at Prenton Park on 10 October.
